For over 50 years, we’ve helped generations of local families care for their pets.

We aim to make things as easy as possible for our clients and their pets. That’s why you can access routine care, diagnostics and surgical services at your local branch, as well as our own 24-hour emergency service.

24-hour emergency care

We run our own 24-hour in-house emergency service for pets. If you have an emergency at any time, contact our team on 0404 46217 or 0402 33744 for support.

Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations for dogs, cats and other small animals, plus boosters and starter courses for new and rehomed pets.

Vaccination is vital in protecting your pet from key infectious diseases that cause pain, distress and can be life-threatening.

Annual preventative healthcare and vaccination appointments provide an opportunity for regular health checks for your pet and an understanding of their needs.

Neutering

Neutering is a surgical procedure which takes away a pet’s ability to reproduce. It is known as spaying in females and castration in males.

Spaying, sometimes spelt speying, involves the removal of the ovaries and, in most cases, the uterus (womb). Castration is the removal of the testes (testicles).

Neutering pets can be beneficial for their health and wellbeing, as well as preventing unplanned litters.

Microchipping

Microchipping is a safe and permanent way of identifying your pet and is the best way to ensure that they can be returned to you if they are lost or stolen.

Health checks and nurse clinics

We offer comprehensive health checks for puppies, kittens and adolescent pets. Our lovely nursing team can also help with a variety of health topics.

Soft tissue surgery

We are experienced in treating conditions involving cardiothoracic, gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital systems, as well as disorders involving the ear, nose and throat.

Orthopaedics

Screening, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for hereditary and acquired joint disorders, cruciate ligament tears, patella luxation, fractures and arthritis.

In-house laboratory

We can test stool, urine and blood samples onsite.

Weight management

We offer bespoke diet and exercise plans to help your pet maintain a healthy body shape and weight, as well as weight checks with our friendly team.

Diagnostics

We offer in-house digital and dental x-ray and ultrasound scans, as well as blood testing and analysis.

Post-operative care and wound checks

We offer tailored pain relief and management before, during and after surgery, as well as wound checks and suture removal, when appropriate.

Anaesthesia

We perform procedures under both general anaesthesia and sedation and use local anaesthetic techniques, where appropriate. We will advise you on which anaesthetic technique is most appropriate for your pet and their condition, as well as if and when to stop feeding your pet ahead of their procedure.

We stock a range of pet food and supplies. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we’re more than happy to order it to your local branch.
